ماسة بـ 35 مليون دولار

وافقت شركة من هونغ كونغ على دفع سعر قياسي هو 35.5 مليون دولار مقابل شراء ماسة بحجم بيضة دجاجة. وذكرت شركة "بترا دايموندز" في جزيرة جيرسي البريطانية ان شركة "شو تاي فوك للمجوهرات" اشترت الجوهرة الثمينة.
وأفادت صحيفة "ديلي تلغراف" البريطانية ان ماسة "كالينان هيريتادج" تزن 507.5 قراريط وهي الماسة رقم 19 الأكبر في العالم، وتم اكتشافها في أيلول- سبتمبر الماضي في منجم كالينان قرب بريتوريا بجنوب إفريقيا.
ولم تعط الشركة أي معلومات عن خططها لتقسيم الماسة. يذكر ان أكبر ماسة في العالم تزن 3105 قراريط، ووجدت في المنجم نفسه في العام 1909 وقطعت إلى جزأين موضوعين في جواهر العائلة المالكة البريطانية.
وقال المدير التنفيذي للشركة جوهانان ديبنار: "من الجميل أن تحقق الماسة 35.5 مليون دولار وهي قادرة على إنتاج واحدة من أهم الأحجار الثمينة المصقولة في العالم".
وأشار إلى ان هذا السعر يزيد من إرث "بترا" وسيتم استثماره لنموها.
