خطة لاستبدال اسطوانات الغاز الحديدية بالبلاستيكية

قال الناطق باسم وزارة النفط عاصم جهاد: ان خطة استبدال الاسطوانات الحديدية المستخدمة حاليا بالبلاستيكية الحديثة ستتم بشكل تدريجي حتى تتم تغطية جميع المنازل والمؤسسات. مؤكدا توزيع 100 الف اسطوانة غاز بلاستيكية كدفعة اولى من اصل 300 الف اسطوانة تم استيرادها مؤخرا. واضاف جهاد: ان الاختبارات اثبتت صلاحية وامان الاسطوانات الجديدة كونها مصنوعة من الالياف الزجاجية وغير قابلة للأنفجار، بالاضافة الى انها شفافة تتيح للمستخدمين رؤية الغاز السائل داخل الاسطوانة. وتابع: ان استخدام هذا النوع من الاسطوانات الجديدة يقلل من حالات التلف والصيانة الناتجة من التداول السيئ في الاسطوانة الحالية بسبب ثقل وزنها وكلفتها العالية، مما يكلف الشركة العامة لتعبئة الغاز مبالغ باهظة. ونفى جهاد: بيع الاسطوانة الجديدة للمواطنين، وانما يتم استبدالها بالاسطوانة الحديدية.
