إنتاج سجائر خالية من النيكوتين

اكتشف فريق علماء ياباني بلجيكي لأول مرة، الجين المسئول عن انتقال النيكوتين من الجذور إلى الأوراق فى النبات.وأشار الباحثون إلى أن هذا الاكتشاف قد يمكن العلماء من إنتاج سجائر خالية من النيكوتين، لمساعدة المدخنين على التخلص من تأثير النيكوتين الضار.وسيفتح اكتشاف هذا الجين المجال لإيصال مواد كيماوية أخرى ذات فائدة طبية من الجذور إلى الأوراق بحسب الباحثون الذين أكدوا دوره في إنتاج أنواع من المواد الطبية النباتية ذات المواصفات الكيمياوية العلاجية مستقبلاً.
