محافظ البصرة : تراخيص حقول غرب القرنة ستؤهل العراق ليكون من اكبر منتجي النفط في العالم

اكد محافظ البصرة شلتاغ عبود ان توقيع جولة التراخيص الثانية لحقل غرب القرنة شمال البصرة الذي جرى بين وزارة النفط وائتلاف شركتي لوك اويل الروسية و شتات اويل النرويجية ،ستوهل العراق لان يكون في المستقبل من اكبر منتجي النفط في المعمورة.
واضاف عبود ان "البصرة مقبلة على مرحلة تنموية كبيرة لما لها من اهمية اقتصادية كبيرة اقليميا وعالميا "، مشيرا الى ان "توقيع جولة التراخيص الثانية (المرحلة الثانية) لاستخراج النفط من حقول غرب القرنة بكميات كبيرة جدا سيؤهل العراق ليكون من اكبر منتجي النفط بين دول العالم" فضلا عن انه "سيسهم في انفتاح العراق على شعوب المنطقة ولاسيما روسيا التي لها تجربة سابقة معنا".
ولفت محافظ البصرة شلتاغ عبود ان " توقيع جولة التراخيص الثانية لحقل غرب القرنة من شأنه ان يسهم في توفير الاف فرص العمل لابناء المدينة".
فيما اوضح مصدر نفطي لـ(واع) انه "وحسب العقد الذي تم توقيعة مع شركتي لوك اويل الروسية و شتات اويل النرويجية ان يصل الانتاج الى الذروة البالغ مليون و800 الف برميل يوميا، وبسعر دولار و15 سنتا للبرميل الاضافي المنتج "، مبينا ان "حقل غرب القرنة يضم احتياطيا نفطيا ضخما يقدر بما يقارب الـ 13 مليار برميل، وهو يقع الى الغرب من حقل مجنون النفطي العملاق الذي يعادله في احتياطيه النفطي الضخم".
